MY THOUGHTS:
Wow. I really don't even know where to start with this book. I have read a lot of books this summer and this book, by far, is number one on my list. I loved it so much that I pulled an all-nighter just to finish it. I love these kinds of books anyways, but this one is the best of all. If you like mafia-like underworld\crime books, you'll love this.
Juliette Romero is basically living in hell. When her Father died, it was up to her to pay back his debts, A debt she's been paying for seven plus years while working 3 jobs and basically not sleeping at all. After not being able to come up with the money that month, Juliette is forced to either have the money in 24 hours or Arlo (the fucker who is threatening her) takes her 16 year old sister. Juliette doesn't come up with the money and instead of handing her sister over she decides to offer something else to Arlo; her virginity. Right before she hands herself over, Killian walks in. Her hero.
Killian never wanted to be in this business, but after his parents were brutally slaughtered when he was 16, he had no choice but to take the reins. Killian is never with the same woman twice, everyone he gets close to gets killed. From the first time he looked at Juliette, he was changed. After Arlo offered Juliette to Killian for the night, it changed him. This book was about fighting for love and sacrifices. There's not enough good things to say about this book, just trust me and read it.
