MY THOUGHTS:

Any book that has to do with Mob stuff, I'm all in. Italian mob? Even better. I freaking loved this book y'all!! I can't wait for the second one to come out. Angelica or Angel, is just locking up after her last shift as a barista when suddenly a gun is pointed to her head. She's being kidnapped and she has no idea why and no one will tell. After being held captive she comes to the conclusion that she was kidnapped because of her Father, but she thinks her Father is just a simple businessman. She has no idea that he his head of the Boston syndicate and goes by an entire different last name then her and her brother. After going on a hunger strike she comes face-to-face with the mob boss himself. Nico Vitale. Instant attraction between these two. After a few well-placed threats on Nico's end. Angel ends her hunger strike, but she has a new hunger now. She desperately wants Nico in the worst way and the feeling is completely mutual. Throughout the book we see both characters attempting to fight their feelings for one another and losing. After learning why Nico wants her Father, Angel can't believe it. The only way for her to find out the truth is to go along with Nico in trying to hunt him down. I'm over here salivating and counting down the days till I can get my hands on the second installment of this awesome series!
