My Thoughts:
As a foodie, I loved this book. Was I the only one who was constantly hungry while reading the very vivid descriptions of these elaborate meals? No? Great. Tia and her boyfriend move to NY so she can pursue her dreams of becoming a food critic. After her internship goes awry, it's back to the drawing board. Tia meets legendary restaurant critic Michael Saltz and he offers a deal that's too good to be true, and just like they saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it usually comes at a price. Michael lost his sense of taste and makes a deal with Tia that if she becomes his "taste buds" so to speak, and writes the articles, he'll give her everything a girl could want. Fancy dining out options and an expense account at Bergdorfs. I loved Tia and I love the progression that her character made. This book was about passion and food. The writing style was great and there was plenty of laugh out loud moments. All-in-all, a great read.
