My Thoughts: I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but like the overview says, this book can be read as a standalone. This book really didn't stand out to me that much. It seems like the whole sex tape scandal thing has been done a million times, but I did like the characters in this book. We have April, so insecure that she believes she's not worthy to stand up for herself. At the beginning April is kind of like a lamb being led by a wolf, but by the end of the book she becomes a wolf. April hasn't had very much love in her life, She has a mother that married her ex-boyfriend and becomes husband number 4 and then we have her well-known dad who has a whole other family. April goes to a comic con and has a one night stand and because its something shes always wanted to do, she hits the record button on her phone. Somehow this video gets leaked. Causing problems for her and also her genius boss, Jordan. Jordan is 25 and brilliant. Jordan got cheated on when he was younger and that has caused him to distrust women and guard his heart. This book has family drama, mean girls, and very good character development, Jordan started out as an ass, but by the end I really did love him. Y'all need to read this book. I've downloaded the others in this series, but haven't read them yet.
