My Thoughts: This was a sweet book with likable characters. Addison hasn't had an easy time in life, five years ago her boyfriend proposed and then took off and her dad died of cancer leaving her a pile of debt. Fast forward five years later and the guy that ran off is suddenly back, and he's married.
Addison "Green eyes" Peacock is witty and funny. I loved her in this book. She just needed someone to show her that she was worth staying for and worth loving. Damien "Offisides" Walker is just the man to do that. Damien was in a terrible accident that ended is soccer career and killed the woman in the car with him. He knows what he wants and he wants Addison. This book was about letting go of the past and letting someone love you. All in all, a good read. I'll be reading more from this author for sure.
