Wow. That pretty much sums up this whole book. Molly McAdams has hit it out of the park again with another remarkable, real book. My heart melted for Knox and broke for Harlow. Two people who were so very obviously meant to be together. **Warning though, this book does contain abuse and sensitive subject matter. If these are triggers for you, skip this book and this review. **
Harlow met Knox when she was 15 and he was getting ready to turn 18, making any relationship between these two wrong due to her age. Knox waited for her and they developed a deep-friendship\love without ever acting on their feelings. Let's fast forward to Harlow's 18 birthday, the time when she can finally be with Knox,...well, this is a book and things never really go as planned. Harlow never waited for Knox :( She found someone else and ended up marrying the abusive pig. Her family was threatened so Harlow would never attempt to leave. The reunion between Harlow and Knox was so sad and everything that happens after that is too good to be ruined in a review for a book. I encourage all of y'all to read this book. Molly McAdams is a super amazing author and her books are always "true-to-life" for me. They're not fake and fairy-tale like.
