If she has her way…
Willa Davis is wrangling puppies when Keane Winters stalks into her pet shop with frustration in his chocolate-brown eyes and a pink bedazzled cat carrier in his hand. He needs a kitty sitter, stat. But the last thing Willa needs is to rescue a guy who doesn’t even remember her…
…He’ll get nothing but coal in his stocking.
Saddled with his great-aunt’s Feline from Hell, Keane is desperate to leave her in someone else’s capable hands. But in spite of the fact that he’s sure he’s never seen the drop-dead gorgeous pet shop owner before, she seems to be mad at him…
Unless he tempers “naughty” with a special kind of nice…
Willa can’t deny that Keane’s changed since high school: he’s less arrogant, for one thing—but he doesn’t even remember her. How can she trust him not to break her heart again? It’s time to throw a coin in the fountain, make a Christmas wish–and let the mistletoe do its work…
My Thoughts:
I have been a huge fan on Jill Shalvis for years. I read the first book in the lucky harbor series and I've been hooked ever since. I own every single one of her books. It may be a little early too break out the Christmas decorations and books (its still 90 here), I couldn't pass up the opportunity to read this book.
The trouble with mistletoe falls into the Heartbreaker bay series. A series that I am loving so far. I love how all the characters always makes an appearance in other books. I also really loved Willa and Keane. Willa had such a hard life that I was really hoping that something good would find its way to her. Christmas is the perfect time to right a wrong and give love a second chance, If you've never read a book by Jill Shalvis (the bigger question is why haven't you read her books?), you should really give this book and this series a chance. You can't help but to fall in love with all the characters.
