LOVING LUCAS
Lies & Leather #1
Violetta Rand
Releasing Oct 20th, 2015
Loveswept

Perfect for fans of Joanna Wylde and Monica Murphy, Violetta Rand’s explosive new Lies & Leather series kicks off with a red-hot motorcycle racer who rides hard and plays for keeps.

Twenty-one-year-old Karlie Augustine is a survivor. She’s smart and tough, but she’s in too deep with a bad boyfriend who isn’t above breaking her spirit—or her body. Luckily, help arrives in the form of a leather-clad, motorcycle-riding hunk on the right side of the law. Lucas Lafontaine is pure muscle, a Corpus Christi cop who ignites something primal deep within Karlie. And when he offers her room and board in exchange for housekeeping, she finally starts to feel safe again.

As their arrangement turns deliciously decadent, Lucas gets hooked on Karlie’s killer body and fighting spirit. He wants to heal the pain he sees behind her eyes, but to protect her he needs to keep her close, especially now that her psycho ex won’t take a hint. Even as Lucas fights his own battle for custody of his young son, he knows that what he’s found with Karlie is real—and that he’d do anything to protect the woman he wants to take to the finish line.

My Thoughts:
This book really hooked me. I loved Karlie and I especially loved Lucas, He was pretty much her hero in every way. Karlie was a ward of the state of Texas and has been on her own since she was 18. Her only family are her friends Marie and Marie's boyfriend Brandon. Karlie gets involved in a relationship with an abusive racer, Connor. I loved how strong Karlie turned out to be, the strength she showed in dealing with leaving Connor and all the information she finds out how about her family. Lucas is a hero and just a good man. I'm hoping there's a second book, but I haven't heard anything about it. All-in-all a great book.

How does your mind move on from someone your soul can't seem to forget? How can your heart resist a love that never fully came to be?
Ten years. It's been ten years since Hailee saw Corwin Rogers. In person that is, because despite their lack of physical contact, Corwin's gorgeous face has plagued her dreams all this time. In its most idle hours of the night, her mind always reverts back to the image of the teenage boy she loved in secret years ago. They were classmates for four years, forging a limited friendship within school grounds and occasional parties, but they also shared a unique bond over their struggles. Hailee never told him how she felt, and she wasn't sure if the feelings were reciprocated, but she always wondered. How could she not when he shared so much of himself with her and only her? Seeing him a decade after their high school graduation presents the two with another fateful opportunity to be everything for one another. Hailee starts to consider that her inexplicable dreams actually mean something, and that her ties to Corwin are stronger than she ever allowed herself to believe. But after years of separation, their chance at happiness is challenged by secrets from their time apart. When the truth emerges, colliding pasts and futures, Hailee and Corwin have to decide if they truly are perfectly aligned.

MY Thoughts:
This is the second book by Stephanie Alba and it's such a beautifully written book. As a fan of romance novels, this one ranks high on my list. There was just a dash of drama, but the sappiness overshadowed all that. It's been ten years since Hailee and Corwin laid eyes on each other and now they have a second chance at everything. To work through all the problems and secrets and just be. This book is lengthy, but it's very much worth the reading.

About Stephanie Alba

StephanieAlba
Stephanie Alba has wanted to write for as long as she can remember. Writing was always a way to express herself, as well as an escape. In August of 2014, Stephanie decided to start writing a story that she dreamed about. At first it was just something fun for her to do, a way of keeping her sanity during her first year as a stay at home mom. Over the months she couldn’t stop writing and that’s where For Both Are Infinite came along. Rhys and Ellie’s story was hard work, but it allowed her to fulfill the goal she’d always had of writing a novel. Before becoming an indie author, Stephanie taught high school English. Now she is a stay at home mom to the happiest baby ever, a wife to an amazing husband, and a graduate school student. She also hopes to continue writing. When she’s not glued to her laptop or with a notebook in her hand, she’s swimming, running, reading or chasing her toddler. Stephanie is currently working on her second novel, a friends to lovers story set in Washington state. It is set to release during fall 2015. She also plans on writing more of Ellie and Rhys’ story, as well as stories focusing on other characters you meet in For Both Are Infinite.

Their love burned bright, white hot, and strikingly blue around the edges.
Some thought them careless.
Some thought them crazy.
No one approved.
Taylor Barrett was looking for answers in a universe that had abandoned him.
Jude Boehler flooded her dark world with charisma and mystery, drawing everyone into her hurricane.
It was a most captivating of love affairs. They were shooting stars, meteors in the sky, colliding to create a spectacularly wonderful reckless romance, leaving them breathless and tethered.
But that’s what Love does.
Their souls were exposed to the chaos, bare and vulnerable. Can these two star-crossed lovers survive the madness that is life?

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this book. It was so different than any other book I've read lately. The characters were amazing and the story itself was perfect. Jude was just a shining star with her outlook on life and her brightness. Taylor was swoon-worthy. This book captured me from the very first page. It has it all.Every single emotion you could ever feel, you'll feel. It's a thrilling roller coaster ride from page one. Buckle yourself s in and hold on tight. Enjoy the ride.

SEIZED BY LOVE
The Ryders #1
Melissa Foster
Releasing Oct 28th, 2015
World Literary Press

You fell in love with Blue Ryder and Lizzie Barber in Seaside Summers, now follow their journey to find true love in SEIZED BY LOVE, the first book in the Ryder series.

Lizzie Barber runs a successful flower shop by day and secretly hosts the Naked Baker webcast at night to help pay for her younger sister’s education. To keep friends and family from finding out about her sexy secret, she’s put her social life on hold until her sister’s education is paid off and she can stop filming the webcast.

Blue Ryder fell hard for Lizzie Barber when he met her a year ago, and he hasn’t been able to get her off his mind since. Everything about the feisty little brunette, from her tight bod to her seductive smile, cuts straight to his heart. Though Lizzie has turned down every invitation he’s extended—Blue is not about to give up trying.

Renovating Lizzie’s kitchen brings Blue further into Lizzie’s life, and the oven is not the only thing heating up. One night and one powerful kiss changes everything. But when Lizzie’s secret is revealed and the safe bubble she’s hidden in shatters, true love may not be enough to put the pieces back together.

THE RYDERS are the newest addition to the LOVE IN BLOOM series by New York Times & USA Today bestselling and award-winning author Melissa Foster. This 5-book hot contemporary romance series features alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They’re flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to readers who enjoy new adult romance, contemporary romance, and women’s fiction.

My Thoughts:
I'm a fan of Melissa Foster's and her books. This book was great. I loved Lizzie so much, and I've been waiting for Blue to get his own happy ending. Lizzie has a secret that holds her back from accepting Blue's dates and when she finally gives in, she falls in love. Only he still doesn't know her secret. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do in order to make things happen. What started out as Lizzie being ashamed of what she was doing, turned into her owning it. These characters were sassy and lovable. The sexy times scenes were sizzling too. Melissa Foster knows how to hook a reader and keep them coming back.

Synopsis:
"I loved every last word! Beautiful, heartfelt, consuming--I couldn't put it down. There's pure magic in J. A. Redmerski's pen." --- KATY EVANS, New York Times bestselling author of the REAL series

From the New York Times bestselling author of The Edge of Never and The Edge of Always

THE TRUTH WILL SET THEM FREE
Brayelle Bates has always been a force of nature. Even as a child, Bray's wild and carefree spirit intimidated everyone around her. The only person who's ever truly understood her is her best friend, Elias Kline. Though every fiber of her being wants to stay with Elias forever, Bray can't bear the thought of him discovering her agonizing history. She's done everything she can to keep him at arm's length, including moving away. But their undying bond was too strong a pull to deny, and Bray couldn't survive without him. Now she's back home with Elias, and things have never felt more right--until one night changes everything.

Elias vowed never to be separated from Bray again. So when she decides to flee in a desperate attempt to escape her fate, Elias knows he must go with her. As the two try to make the most of their circumstance, taking up with a reckless group of new friends, Elias soon realizes there's a darkness driving Bray he can't ignore. Now in order to save her, he'll have to convince Bray to accept the consequences of their reality--even if it means losing her.

My Thoughts:
I loved the Edge of Never so I was expecting this book to be just as good as that one. While I liked this book, I didn't absolutely love it like I did with Cameron and Andrew's story. I did like how these two couples crossed paths in this book. This book touched on mental health and suicide, This author wrote about these subjects with such beauty and realness. You couldn't help but to love Bray and want to get her help at the same time. I just read this book a couple days ago and I'm still thinking about these characters. Bray and Elias are a couple that are just meant to be. Their love knows no bounds. This is a touching love story that everyone should read.

Can she ever trust a man with a past she might never know?

My Thoughts:
This was a fast and intriguing read for me. I spent the whole book wondering what Alex's secret was, and right when we get to the good stuff, the book ends. Womp womp. However. the sequel does come out in December.  Grace inherits her mother's house in Maine and while she's staying there she hires an architect to restore the house. That's where she meets Alex. There is something very mysterious and edgy about Alex that Grace just can't figure out. Thing's keep happening that makes her wonder what Alex is hiding. Basically, this was a good book and I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel. Go read this book and thank me later.
