SURRENDER MY LOVE
Love in Bloom: The Bradens #14
Melissa Foster
Releasing on January 13, 2016
World Literary Press

Annalise “Leesa” Avalon never realized that one sentence could change her life until one of her students revealed his crush—and within twenty-four hours she finds herself under fire. After a grueling investigation that turns her life upside down, she steals away to Peaceful Harbor, Maryland, with a new identity to try to pull herself back together and figure out her next step.

From the outside, Cole Braden lives a charmed life. He’s a top orthopedic surgeon with a thriving practice, strong family ties, and friends he adores. But there’s a lonely spot inside Cole that no one can see. He has an enormous heart—and a painful past—but the desire to love and be loved is too strong to ignore.

A chance encounter brings Leesa and Cole together, and the attraction is immediate and intense. But a relationship is the last thing Leesa needs—and the only thing Cole wants. Long talks, heated moments, and deep connections are hard to resist, but the harder Cole tries, the more Leesa pulls away. Cole might truly be the right man for Leesa, but is Leesa the right woman for him?

My Thoughts:
Every time I read a Melissa Foster book I immediately have a new favorite, but then comes another great book and that one becomes my favorite. It's a never-ending cycle.
When I read what this book was about I just knew I had to read it and I'm so happy I did. Ms. Foster has a way of making you adore her characters, from the leading characters to the supporting characters. Leesa and Cole have to be my favorite (until I read another of her books) couple. There was such a gentleness and kindness about Cole that made me want to cuddle him. Leesa has such a huge heart and even though she was cleared of any wrongdoing, the whole situation shook her faith in herself. Leesa though that she could start over in Peaceful Harbor, but she didn't realize how much she needed to go back and find the closure of her old life. I think everyone of us could relate to Leesa in one way or another. These characters both had some problems in relations, but from the moment Cole gave Leesa his muffin you just knew that they could help heal each other.
Siiiigh. I really did find this book lovely and every character unique.

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS KNIT-OFF

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS KNIT-OFF
Alexandra Brown
Releasing Oct 13th, 2015
Harper Collins

The perfect seasonal tale of how laughter, friends and wacky Christmas sweaters can mend a broken heart.

Heartbroken after being jilted at the altar, Sybil has been saved from despair by her knitting obsession and now her home is filled to bursting with tea cozies, beanies, and sweaters. But, after discovering that she may have perpetrated the screw-up of the century at work, Sybil decides to make a hasty exit and, just weeks before Christmas, runs away to the picturesque village of Tindledale.

There, Sybil discovers Hettie’s House of Haberdashery, an emporium dedicated to the world of knitting and needle craft. But Hettie, the outspoken octogenarian owner, is struggling and now the shop is due for closure. And when Hettie decides that Sybil’s wonderfully wacky Christmas sweaters are just the thing to add a bit of excitement to her window display, something miraculous starts to happen…

My Thoughts:
I loved the Cupcake series, so when I got the chance to review this book, I jumped on it. This was the perfect little Christmas book. There is nothing better than Christmas in a charming New England town. I pretty much loved my way through this delightful book. The characters were spot on and the writing style is on point as well. If you're looking for a book to put you in the Christmas spirit look no further than this book. You'll giggle your way through to the last page and then sigh because it was just that good.

Investigative reporter Rachel Dawson is always looking for her next big story. While working on a feature about BDSM, she lands a one-night, no-holds-barred pass into the exclusive sex club, Benediction. Rachel doesn't have a deviant bone in her body—or so she thought—until the infuriating, ex-soldier Logan Bradford convinces her to try rope bondage under his capable hands. But a steamy night turns deadly when Rachel and Logan witness a gruesome murder.

A Dom who's determined to bind her to him...

Framed for a crime they didn't commit and hunted by corrupt FBI agents, they flee. As Rachel and Logan search for evidence to clear their names, the attraction they've been fighting ignites into fiery passion. Love is the last thing Rachel wants, but night by night, as Logan binds her body, he unravels the knots around her heart. And when they uncover a shocking political conspiracy, Rachel will stop at nothing to reveal the truth…and it just might kill her.

My Thoughts:
Wow, This book was steamy as all get out and I loved every minute of it. This was my first book by Shelly Bell that I have read and now I want to go back and read the other two. Logan is an attorney and a sexy Dom, Rachel is a reporter, an investigative reporter. Logan and Rachel witness something they shouldn't have and that's how they end up shacked up together trying to get enough evidence to clear their name. This book was very well written and I adored the characters. Sex.Murder.Suspense. It's all there. Go give this book a read!

HENDRIX
Caldwell Brothers #1
MJ Fields and Chelsea Camaron
Loveswept

Perfect for fans of J. S. Scott and Emma Chase, Hendrix introduces the wild and sexy Caldwell boys—three brothers who are living up to their legendary names in Detroit Rock City.

Hendrix Caldwell wants nothing more than to revitalize the family bar—and tear down every last reminder of his no-good father. But business isn’t the only thing on his mind. An explosive encounter with a stranger at a charity masquerade is just the distraction he craves, with no names and no strings attached. For Hendrix, sex is casual, and love is a four-letter word. His commitment is to his brothers, his bar, and his bike. So why can’t he stop thinking about the naughty Cinderella who rocked his world, then left him—and her panties—behind?

Olivia Hemmingway knows fairytales are for little girls. Drowning in debt and hiding a shameful secret, she won’t be saved by a knight in tattooed armor, no matter how mind-blowing their one-night stand may have been. Olivia never expects to meet her masked lover again. But when she takes a job at Hendrix Caldwell’s bar, her sexy new boss seems all too familiar. And once the lights go out and the music is turned up, the sparks between them burn hotter than ever.

My Thoughts:
Wow. I was blown away by this book. I even stayed up till 4 finishing it, that's how good it was. This is a phenomenal first book to what is going to be an amazing series. The prologue had me in tears. Hendrix and Liv have both had crappy upbringings, Hendrix's Father was a drunk and abusive and Liv had something taken from her. Both these characters were bruised, not broken. I love seeing book guys like Hendrix fall in love, here you have this muscled- broody- inked- hot- alpha man, who doesn't believe in love. Then along comes the girl and BAM! I loved every single character in this book and I'm practically salivating to get my grubby hands on Morrison's story. Seriously y'all, this is a MUST READ book.

Praise for the Chasing Fire trilogy

"Exceptional...Seriously sexy and sinfully steamy. Can't wait for more from this writing duo!"--New York Times bestselling author Tara Sue Me

"Walker and Rogers strike the perfect balance between blistering physical desire and heartfelt connections..."--RT Book Review

My Thoughts:
I'm so sad to say goodbye to Allie and Hudson :( This is third book in the chasing fire trilogy and it was everything I was hoping it to be. If you remember in the second book we left off with the evil troll Julian summoning Allie to his french Chateau. Reclaim me picked right up right where the last book ended. It was so much fun reading my other reviews and seeing how much Hudson has changed. His love for Allie knows no bounds and Allie is finally to the point where she trust Hudson instead of handling everything on her own. I was so glad to see the demise of the troll named Julian, He was truly a despicable human. There's twists and turns in this book and the amazing authors wrap everything up and put a shiny purple(red is way too cliche and purple is where its at) ribbon on our favorite characters. I will be having a moment of silence for my favorite fiction characters who I wish were real. If you missed my review of Release me, check it out here. May Allie and Hudson forever live on in our twisted minds and continue to have kinky sexy times :)

Review: Loving Lucas by Violetta Rand

Select Ebook Bundle from Loveswept

LOVING LUCAS
Lies & Leather #1
Violetta Rand
Releasing Oct 20th, 2015
Loveswept

Perfect for fans of Joanna Wylde and Monica Murphy, Violetta Rand’s explosive new Lies & Leather series kicks off with a red-hot motorcycle racer who rides hard and plays for keeps.

Twenty-one-year-old Karlie Augustine is a survivor. She’s smart and tough, but she’s in too deep with a bad boyfriend who isn’t above breaking her spirit—or her body. Luckily, help arrives in the form of a leather-clad, motorcycle-riding hunk on the right side of the law. Lucas Lafontaine is pure muscle, a Corpus Christi cop who ignites something primal deep within Karlie. And when he offers her room and board in exchange for housekeeping, she finally starts to feel safe again.

As their arrangement turns deliciously decadent, Lucas gets hooked on Karlie’s killer body and fighting spirit. He wants to heal the pain he sees behind her eyes, but to protect her he needs to keep her close, especially now that her psycho ex won’t take a hint. Even as Lucas fights his own battle for custody of his young son, he knows that what he’s found with Karlie is real—and that he’d do anything to protect the woman he wants to take to the finish line.

My Thoughts:
This book really hooked me. I loved Karlie and I especially loved Lucas, He was pretty much her hero in every way. Karlie was a ward of the state of Texas and has been on her own since she was 18. Her only family are her friends Marie and Marie's boyfriend Brandon. Karlie gets involved in a relationship with an abusive racer, Connor. I loved how strong Karlie turned out to be, the strength she showed in dealing with leaving Connor and all the information she finds out how about her family. Lucas is a hero and just a good man. I'm hoping there's a second book, but I haven't heard anything about it. All-in-all a great book.
