MY THOUGHTS
Erin Nicholas is one of those authors that you keep reading because she's just that good. I read the first book and I couldn't wait to read this one.
The thing that stands out in this series is how all of the female leads are seriously badass. They're confident and pushy and that's something you don't always see in books. Another thing that I love so much is that I always smile when I read them. This is a feel-good book that you'll want an entire afternoon to read it.
The chemistry between Maya and Alex was instant. They're almost opposites, but at the same time they completely work. Add in his long lost daughter and it's almost an insta-family.
I can't wait to see what the next book brings.
